Welcome To Reflections 11:11

Hi my name is Nyx and I love to think – a lot.

I created Reflections 11:11 because I have a feeling that there are plenty of people out there who love to think deeply and practice self-reflection until they reach that what I like to call the “I see” moment. If you like to ask questions and really explore the many answers, then this is the community for you!

I like to take time to reflect on my day. Sometimes I take time to reflect on a conversation I just had so I can process those emotions and thoughts before I engage with anyone else. I ask myself questions like “why did what they said piss me off?” and “Why did I say what I said?” and “Is that what I meant to say?” and most importantly, “What can I learn from this?”

I do this to help me be more mindful and more self-aware.

I started this blog to share my personal philosophy with the world in hopes it helps others to find balance in their lives. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being whole. It’s about remembering that healing is journey – not a destination and that growth never stops.

It’s also about recognizing that sometimes you might cry, somedays you might be angry and irritated. Balancing is about turning those days into moments of growth.

Posting Schedule

I plan to post at least twice a week. Once on Sunday and once on Wednesday. I’m still deciding if I want to add another post on Fridays to my schedule, so I guess that will be a surprise!

Every week there will be a theme that connects the post and this week’s theme is “Growth and Change”. The first post, should everything go to plan, will be live later today.

In the meantime, remember this; Yesterday in not today – Today will never be yesterday. Today is a chance to make a better tomorrow.

The choice is always yours!
